Terms of service

The rules that apply when you create an account and use Aeorost. Written to be read, not to be survived.

Last updated: October 21, 2026

1. Who these terms bind

These terms form an agreement between you — or the company you represent — and E-commerce Pro LLC, publisher of Aeorost. By creating an account, you accept them. If you accept on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to bind it.

Company:
E-commerce Pro LLC
Address:
539 W Commerce St, Suite 144, Dallas, TX 75208, United States
EIN:
38-4228237

2. The service is in open beta

Aeorost is currently in open beta. Access is free during this period, and this is not a free trial: there is nothing to buy at the end, and no card is requested.

  • Features change often, and some are still incomplete. What you see today may be different next month.
  • The service is provided as it is: we do not commit to an availability rate during the beta.
  • Data is backed up, but we strongly recommend that you export what matters to you regularly. The service lets you export your customers, invoices, and documents.
  • We may suspend the beta, or end it, with reasonable notice by email. If we end it, we give you a window to export your data.

When the beta ends, continued use requires a paid plan at the price shown on the site. You will be told before anything is charged, and nothing is charged without an explicit action from you.

3. Your account

  • One account per person. Credentials are personal and must not be shared.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account. Turn on two-factor authentication, it takes a minute and it is supported.
  • You must be at least 18 years old, and legally able to enter into a contract.
  • You give us accurate information, and you keep it current — especially your billing address and your contact email.
  • Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. What you may not do

  • Use the service to send unsolicited bulk email, or to harass anyone.
  • Store or distribute content that is illegal where you operate, or that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Attempt to access another organization's data, probe the service for vulnerabilities outside a coordinated report, or bypass its access controls.
  • Resell the service, or present it as your own product, without a written agreement.
  • Put a load on the service that is disproportionate to its purpose — crypto mining, for instance, or bulk scraping.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. When the situation allows it, we warn you first and give you time to fix it.

5. Your data

You own your data. We host it, we back it up, and we do not use it for anything other than running the service for you.

  • Your customers' data is your responsibility: you must have the right to store it, and to send them the emails the service produces.
  • You can export your data at any time, from the service itself. No request to make, no fee to pay.
  • If you close your account, your data is deleted after a short grace period that lets you change your mind.
  • The Privacy policy explains what we collect about you, and what our providers receive.

We never sell your data, and we never use your customer records to train anything.

6. Our role, and yours

For the data you enter about your own customers, employees, and suppliers, you are the data controller and we are the processor: we act on your instructions, and only for the purposes of the service. For your own account data — your name, your email, your billing details — we are the controller.

You answer requests from your customers about their data. We help you do it: the service lets you find, correct, and delete a record.

7. Intellectual property

The service, its interface, its source code, and its documentation remain our property. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for the duration of your account, for your professional activity.

You keep everything you create with the service: your quotes, your invoices, your documents.

8. Availability and support

We work to keep the service available, but during the beta we do not commit to a service level. Planned maintenance is announced in the application when it is likely to be noticeable.

Support is handled directly, by the people who build the product. Write to contact@aeorost.org, or through the support module once you have an account.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us over the twelve months preceding the claim. During the beta, since nothing is paid, that amount is zero.

We are not liable for indirect damage: loss of revenue, loss of customers, loss of opportunity, or damage to reputation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as fraud or intentional misconduct.

A word of advice: an invoicing tool is not an accountant. Tax rules, rates, and legal mentions depend on your situation, and checking them remains your responsibility.

10. Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time, from the settings. There is no notice period and no penalty.

We can suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or if we are required to by law. Except in an emergency, we tell you why, and we let you export your data first.

11. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms as the product changes. A substantial change is announced by email at least thirty days before it takes effect. If it does not suit you, you can close your account before that date, and export your data.

Continuing to use the service after the effective date means you accept the new terms.

12. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States. Disputes fall under the courts of New Mexico.

Before any proceedings, write to us: most disagreements are settled in a conversation, and we would rather have that conversation.
